Eighteen-year-old Toby Sowery stormed to victory in both race one and two in the final round of the MRF Challenge 2014 at the MMRT here on Saturday.
Sowery finished ahead of young Indian Tarun Reddy and Brazilian Gustavo Myasava in the first race before triumphing again in the second ahead of Myasava and Oscar King.
In the MRF FF1600 category, Goutham Parekh won a thrilling opening race with the top four drivers separated by less than two seconds. Sunday will see races three and four of the MRF Challenge and the second race in MRF FF1600.
