Manpreet, had earlier failed dope tests in the first leg of the Asian Grand Prix in Jinhua, China, in April and the Federation Cup in Patiala in June.

Manpreet had tested positive for the same substance in the Federation Cup. Days later, she also returned positive results for a steroid and the stimulant in the event in China.

Since the stimulant was a specified substance, she had not been banned provisionally. However, she was provisionally suspended following her positive results in the Asian Grand Prix and was dropped from the Indian squad for the World championships in London.

According to the NADA source, all four cases of Manpreet would be handled simultaneously. “Since the recent positive results are a continuation of the same substance, all the cases will be treated as one,” said the source.

In case Manpreet is found guilty in the doping cases, then she will lose all her medals from the above-mentioned events.
