Bengaluru Bulls defeated Tamil Thalaivas 45-35 in a Zone-B match of the ProKabaddi League here on Thursday. It was the sixth defeat in a row for Thalaivas, all at home.

The match was looked as a face-off between two of the best raiders in the league, Ajay Thakur of Thalaivas and Rohit Kumar of Bulls, in so much as either team’s victory on the day was seen as contingent on how the two were to perform.

Rohit scored the first point of the match — a bonus — and remarkably put a defender out with a scorpion kick soon after. He managed eight points in the first-half.

It raged in the second half, going up 27-10, 34-15, and 39-22 before calling a timeout with six minutes to go. It had inflicted two more all-outs on the Thalaivas.
