Indian teams dominated the second day of the Asia-Pacific junior golf championship at the RCGC here on Friday.
Thailand’s Suradit Yongcharoenchai shot a two-under par 70 to lead the individual category for boys. India’s top gun Viraj Madappa added another 73 to his overnight 73 to be in second place, two shots behind leader.
The Indian duo of Madappa and Manu Gandas took a four-shot lead in the team category over Chinese Taipei ‘A’. In the girl’s category, India’s Ridhima Dilawari shot a level par 72 to be tied for the top spot along with Min-Jou Chen of Chinese Taipei in the girls (A&B) category.
