The Indian women’s rowing team was eliminated from the lightweight quadruple sculls event after finishing last in their repechage round at the 17th Asian Games in Incheon on Monday.
The quartet of Varghese Dittymol, Monalisha Chanu, Cahoba devi and Manjula Xess was eliminated after ending up on the bottom of the five-strong heap.
The four clocked 7:05.65 to cover 2000m, way below the fourth-ranked Thais, who qualified for the final with a timing of 6:58.65.
