India’s ace cueist, Pankaj Advani continued his winning streak on the Professional Snooker Circuit, beating England’s Mark King 4-3 in the fourth round of qualifiers for the European Tour-2 Paul Hunter Classic in Furth.

Following a fabulous show of snooker on Friday where Pankaj won all his three matches, the seven-time world champion carried on his superb form into the match against English veteran cueist.

In a closely fought match, the 26-year-old Bangalorean produced a brilliant display of snooker to emerge victorious.

With the match evenly poised, King took the fifth frame to gain a slight edge, but Advani won the sixth game to make it even.

Thriving under pressure, the reigning national billiards champion was unstoppable in the seventh frame, opening a 44 points break. Pankaj pocketed the game, and the match 4-3 to book his berth in the quarter-finals.
