Both the Indian recurve and compound mixed teams figure in the medal rounds of the World Cup archery Stage 4 at Wroclaw in Poland.

The compound team of Abhishek Verma and Purvasha Shende will take on top seed, the U.S., in the final on Saturday while the recurve team of Deepika Kumari and Jayanta Talukdar will take on Belarus in the bronze medal play-off.

The recurve duo lost to Mexico by 3-5 set points in the semifinals on Wednesday after outplaying Egypt 6-0 and France 5-1. The compound pair defeated Russia in the tie-breaker after both teams were tied 154-154 and 19-19. Indians’ arrow was found to be closer to the centre which paved the way for the team to march into the final.
