Sampathy is AICF chief

Dr. Neeraj Sampathy of Andhra Carrom Association was unanimously elected president of the All India Carrom Federation (AICF) at its general body meeting here on Sunday.

Vijay Kumar of Chhattisgarh Carrom Association was elected general secretary in the elections which were unanimous for all posts.

The office-bearers:

President: Dr. Neeraj Sampathy.

Executive president: S.K. Sharma.

General secretary: Vijay Kumar.

Treasurer: S. Madanraj.

Senior vice-president: J.P. Thakur.

Vice-presidents: Messrs. A.K. Gupta, Mohinder Khanna, M. Chandramouli and Sandeep Verma.

Assistant general secretary: S. Udaya Kumar.

Joint secretaries: Aarif Ahmed Khan (North), Zulfikqar Ali (East), Nirmala Mahant (West) and Dikib I Gamngkak (North East).

Secretary: P. Raveendran.
