ONGC wins team title

The powerful ONGC team of Pankaj Advani, Alok Kumar and Sourav Kothari on Friday won the PSPB inter-Petroleum billiards team title defeating the host BPCL 2-1 in the final at Aizawl. The snooker team championship will be held on Saturday.

Final: ONGC bt BPCL 2-1 (Sourav Kothari bt Manan Chandra 200-145; Pankaj Advani lost to Devendra Joshi 132-200; Alok Kumar bt Shahbaaz Adil Khan 200-77).

Semifinals: BPCL bt GAIL 2-0 (Devendra Joshi bt Anil Sharma 200-38; Shahbaaz Adil Khan bt G.K. Makhwana 200-31); ONGC bt IOC 2-1 (Pankaj Advani bt Brijesh Damani 200-138; Alok Kumar lost to Aditya Mehta 159-200; Sourav Kothari bt Dhvaj Haria 181-74).
