Grandmaster Abhijeet Gupta made the most of his white pieces to outwit Marcin Tazbir of Poland to move to joint third spot after the end of the fifth round of the 31st Cappelle La Grande international chess tournament here.

Grandmaster S. Arun Prasad, matched Abhijeet on points after a fine victory over Andrey Sumets.
