: Mahindra Racing’s Indian rider Sarath Kumar finished sixth in the fifth round of the Italian motorcycling championship at Mugello on Sunday. However, the team’s top star, former Italian champion Riccardo Moretti, crashed out in the first lap.
Sarath, eighth in the first race at Mugello, took 10 points and hung on to his sixth spot in the standings with 43 points.
Moretti, winner in three of the championship’s five rounds, is second with 75.
