Hispania driver Karun Chandhok’s F1 debut didn’t last even two laps as the Chennai lad crashed out of the Bahrain Grand Prix after hitting a bump.
It was a blink-and-miss affair with the Indian failing to negotiate a bump in the circuit which forced him into an early exit.
“It was only my fifth lap of the circuit here and I found a bump I didn’t know was there before and it launched me off,” rued the Indian.

His teammate — Bruno Senna — also had to withdraw from the race due to a hydraulics problem.
