Indian women’s hockey has got a scientific advisor as part of its support staff with the appointment of Australian Matthew Tredrea.
Hockey India announced the decision on Tuesday, adding that the 26-year old Tredrea will be looking after the physical and mental fitness of the team.
He will be associated with both the senior and junior teams, ahead of the Hockey World League Round 3 for seniors in June and the women’s junior World Cup in July this year.
