India in Pool A

India has been grouped with defending champion and top-ranked Australia in the Rabobank hockey World Cup to be held at The Hague, Netherlands, later this year.

India, which finished sixth at the recent Hockey World League Final, has been included in Pool A. The other teams in India’s half are England, Belgium, Spain and Malaysia. The other half includes Olympic champion Germany, host Netherlands, New Zealand, Korea, Argentina and South Africa in Pool B.
