Germany playmaker Mesut Oezil said he wants to see out his playing career with Real Madrid.
Oezil told German magazine Kicker : “I want to finish my career at Real Madrid,” and that while he knows Real will continue signing world-class players he wants “to be part of that future.”
The 23-year-old Oezil, who joined Madrid from Werder Bremen in 2010, said his side is on course to claim the Spanish title from Barcelona.

Oezil said “if we keep playing like we have recently, we can’t be caught.” Oezil said he recovered last year’s scintillating form after enjoying a winter break in Turkey where he “worked very hard. That’s definitely paid off.”
