Chhetri is player of the year

Sunil Chhetri.

Sandesh Jhingan, one of ISL’s heroes, was awarded the AIFF ‘Emerging Player of the Year’. The ‘Player of the Year’ awards went to Sunil Chhetri (men) and Bala Devi (women).

The awards:

Player of the year: Men: Sunil Chhetri;

Women: Bala Devi;

Emerging player of the year: Sandesh Jhingan;

Best referee: Santosh Kumar;

Best assistant referee: Sappam Kennedy;

Best grassroots programme: Western India Football Association;

Long time contribution to Indian football: ONGC.
