Cristiano Ronaldo is hoping to return to Real Madrid in time for the derby against Spanish champion Barcelona later this month.
Ronaldo, who has been out of action since Oct. 10 with a right ankle injury, is eyeing the Nov. 29 match at the Camp Nou to mark his return.
Ronaldo will visit his specialist next week to determine how much longer his recovery will last. He says he is “feeling better all the time” and that he has started to run again, but he has been ruled out of Portugal’s two-leg World Cup playoff against Bosnia-Herzegovina.
