With a 6-1, 6-1 victory in the final of the $15,000 ITF women’s tournament, it was the second successive singles title for her.

Mahak Jain won her second singles title in the ITF women’s tennis tournament in Nairobi on Sunday.

Two-time National champion Mahak Jain defeated Sada Nahimana of Burundi 6-1, 6-1 victory in the final of the $15,000 ITF women’s tournament.

It was the second successive singles title for the 18-year-old Mahak who had won the tournament last week at the same venue.

Mahak had more reasons to be happy as she won the doubles title with Sathwika Sama. After a not so impressive season, it was a smart return to winning ways for Mahak, who had made the semifinals of the $25,000 tournament in Navi Mumbai in December last year.
