Unbeaten century by Vasanth

S. Vasanth Saravanan scored an unbeaten 116 (164b, 14x4, 2x6) and added 130 runs for the unbroken seventh wicket with Abhishek Tanwar to help Nelson reach 284 for six on day one of the fifth-round plate group match against Young Stars in the TNCA league on Monday.

Robert Fernandez too scored an unbeaten 116 (162b, 8x4, 3x6) and added 129 runs for the fourth wicket with A.G. Pradeep as IOB ended the day on 430 for four against ICF at Guru Nanak College.

At CPT-IP, off-spinner M. Prabhu of India Pistons picked five for 37 as UFCC (T. Nagar) folded for 91. C.V. Vinay Gupta top-scored with 53 then, for Pistons to get to 170 for eight.
