Kiwis win lone T20 match against Bangladesh

New Zealand's Colin Munro plays a shot during the Twenty20 match against Bangladesh in Dhaka on Wednesday.

Colin Munro smashed 73 and Anton Devcich 59 in leading New Zealand to a 15-run win over Bangladesh in the tour-closing Twenty20 on Wednesday.

Chasing a target of 205, Bangladesh faltered on 189-9 in 20 overs, as the top order failed to stand up in the face of good bowling.

For New Zealand, Ross Taylor added 28 while Corey Anderson hit 18 to propel New Zealand to 204-5, its highest T20 total against Bangladesh.

Bangladesh debutant Al-Amin Hossain finished with 2-31. Abdur Razak claimed 1-19 and Ziaur Rahman took 1-26.

Captain Mushfiqur Rahim top-scored for Bangladesh with 50, Mahmudullah added 34 and Nasir Hossain scored 28.

Tim Southee returned 3-38 and Corey Anderson took 2-21.
