Naman Ojha, who made his ODI debut in 2010 against Sri Lanka in Zimbabwe, is set to make his Test debut against the same opponent in the series decider which starts at the SSC on Friday.
“It’s absolutely amazing,” Ojha said on Wednesday. “I am preparing well. I played only one ODI and was dropped. I went to domestic circuit again and worked. I kept telling myself I need to work hard to play well again, and when the next chance comes I need to make sure I make most of that.”
Ojha admitted that the one-off chance, in Wriddhiman Saha’s absence, does put pressure. “But I am not thinking about that. I just want to enjoy this game because after a long time I am getting this chance,” he said.
