We will follow IPL security policy on carrying food: Rajasthan Royals

Rajasthan Royals said they will follow the Indian Premier League’s (IPL) security policy on spectators carrying food products and other items inside the stadium during the matches.

“We follow the security policy of IPL on this issue, and are still awaiting clarity about do’s and dont’s from them (IPL),” Santanu Chari, Director Operations Rajasthan Royals, said.

To a query, Chari said, “We and Gujarat Cricket Association (GCA) will jointly make sure that it’s convenient for the audiences. That everything is made available inside the stadium.

There shall be no requirement for them (audience) to carry anything inside, also its secure that’s more important.”

Rajasthan Royals also announced the ticket prices for the matches to be played at Sardar Patel Stadium in Ahmedabad, and said it is working with GCA to fix discounted ticket price for the students.

“Ticket prices for admission will range from Rs 150 to 1000 per seat per match,” Chari said.

He also announced the team’s tie-up with Suvidha Infoserve, for distribution of match tickets in Gujarat.
