International Cricket Council president David Morgan says he will be “surprised and disappointed” if day-night Tests aren’t introduced within two years.
The ICC hopes the move would increase crowds in parts of the world where the five-day game’s popularity is on the wane.
Morgan said the ICC still sees test cricket as the “pinnacle of the game,” and believes that day-night Tests could further boost its popularity.

Morgan also thinks day-night Tests would be best suited to countries with hot weather, like Australia.
