The Delhi High Court on Friday refused to stay the award distribution function of the Indian Premier League scheduled for Friday evening in Mumbai.
An event management company sought the stay, submitting that it was not given credit and remuneration for conceptualising the event.
Justice Rajiv Shakdher said the petitioner, Propaganda Media and Marketing, had approached the court very late. However, the court issued notices to the IPL and the BCCI and asked them to file replies by May 12.
