BCCI may seek meeting with Lodha

The Board of Control for Cricket in India may seek an appointment with Justice R.M. Lodha, chairperson of the Supreme Court-appointed Committee that has recommended reforms in cricket.

There is a genuine feeling among BCCI members that the committee could have met the office-bearers, including president Shashank Manohar, before it presented the report to the apex court. The Tamil Nadu Cricket Association feels aggrieved that none of its office-bearers was spoken to. The same sentiment prevails in many other full member associations. The BCCI feels there are a number of issues the Committee needs to be informed, one of which is that the BCCI follows the ICC pattern of full, associate and affiliate membership.
