Australia captain Ricky Ponting won the toss and opted to bat against India in a crucial Group A match of the Champions Trophy at the SuperSport Park here on Monday.

India made two changes with all-rounder Yusuf Pathan making way for leg-spinner Amit Mishra and medium pacer Praveen Kumar replacing left-arm fast bowler Rudra Pratap Singh. Australia retained the same side that won against the West Indies.
