Praveen and Chandralekha declared best athletes

Champions: The victorious St. Joseph’s Sports Academy (Chennai) with the trophy

St. Joseph’s Sports Academy (Chennai) with 219 points won the overall championship at the 91st senior State athletic championship at the Anna stadium here. St. Joseph’s Sports Academy won the overall championship in the men’s and women’s category with 137 points and 82 points respectively.

Arise Steel Athletic Academy (Chennai) were the runners up at 119 points with men finishing on 66 points and women at 53 points.

C. Praveen from Arise Steel Athletic Academy with 1082 points was declared the best male athlete while A. Chandralekha from Indian Bank was the best athlete in the women’s category with 1060 points.
