The oft-documented sporting rivalry between Australia and England has always managed to flare some passions whenever these two sides meet in any sport.
While those looking for camaraderie between the two in the ongoing one-day series may be left disappointed, every bit of it was visible when the British Deputy High Commissioner visited the MRF Pace Foundation to meet Dennis Lillee and his charges.
The Deputy High Commissioner, Michael Nithavrianakis, who describes himself as a big cricket fan, was introduced to the technical and scientific aspects of fast bowling by the legendary Australian pacer.

Inherent ability
Lillee, though, was quick to point out that not anyone can become a fast bowler, and an inherent ability to bowl fast is as important as the necessary coaching and fitness drills.
Lillee, whose long association with the MRF Pace Foundation is coming to an end later this year, also said that though some names had been discussed, he was not part of the search for his replacement. — Sports Reporter
