RJ Balaji is staging his satirical show ‘Ice House to White House’ at Raja Muthiah Mandram tomorrow (May 13)

Riding high on his popularity as an entertainer, Chennai-based radio jockey Balaji is coming to Temple Town with his super hit show, Ice House to White House, a satire on politics, cinema, people and society. It promises to be a laughter riot.

Presented by Nippon Paints in association with The Hindu Group, the show was premiered in Chennai last December to full house. Formatted like an awards ceremony, the two hour programme will keep the audience engaged as winners under different categories will be chosen based on their votes.

While known names from films and politics will vie for the awards, the different categories of awards will be revealed on-the-spot to keep the show interactive and live. Taking potshots at politicians, the light-hearted banter will also bring to fore several important social issues plaguing the State. Given peoples’ penchant for political gossip and taking a dig at politicians, the upcoming show is all set to provide steady streams of laughs.
