A sightseeing trip to Bogatha waterfalls in Wajedu mandal turned tragic for a B.Tech student, who accidentally drowned in the waterfalls on Wednesday.
The deceased was identified as K Nikhil, 21, student of a private engineering college in Warangal.
According to sources, Nikhil arrived at the waterfall along with seven friends from Warangal on a picnic trip to the picturesque site late on Wednesday afternoon. He suddenly lost balance while taking bath in the waterfall and was swept away. His friends tried to save him, but in vain.
