Non-issuance of recruitment notification is set to be the single most challenge the Graduate MLC contestants from Telangana Rastra Samithi (TRS) would be facing during their election campaign.
The TRS is fielding Palla Rajeshwar Reddy and G.Devi Prasad for Nalgonda-Khammam-Warangal and Hyderabad-Rangareddy-
Mahabubnagar respectively.

It is needless to say that the separate Telangana movement would be unimaginable without the participation of post graduate students from across the universities from Telangana.
Speaking to The Hindu , Ramalingam, a post graduate from Osmania University, who is preparing for competitive examinations, said the main reason for the movement was that the Andhra people were taking a lion’s share in employment and other opportunities.
“We all came together for the movement expecting better opportunities after the division, but the opposite is happenening, the unemployed graduate lamented.

Disillusioned
Expecting a flood of notifications, he said that all the unemployed youth admitted got admitted in coaching centres spending thousands of rupees. Another post graduate in physics, Sk.Jhani Pasha, who quit a private teacher job to prepare for DSc, said that he used to earn Rs 15,000 per month, but he quit the job immediately after the State’ formation expecting a notification immediately.
“I spent six months in Hyderabad for coaching and invest Rs 30,000 but TRS led government did not make even a statement on their plans over recruitment so far, “he said.
Some of the TRS leaders often used to attribute the delay to Kamalanathan Committee, which was working on the division of employees between the two States, but Kamalanathan has written a letter to TPSC chairman Ganta Chakrapani stating that his committee would not pose any hurdle in issuing notifications. Meanwhile, The AP government had already issued a DSc notification which had further upset the unemployed in Telangana. Another unemployed, K.Giribabu said the Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao said they would take up massive police recruitment, but that has not materialised.

The unemployed youth are getting ready to raise the issue when the contestants approach them seeking vote.
