“I am pretty confident of my subject. I have an audience, an image of my own who will definitely patronise my productions,” says Upendra, almost in a cheeky tone!
Waiting for the auspicious period
This Dasara, it will be all about young scions of Telugu film industry and their big ticket projects. The successor of Megastar and politician Chiranjeevi, actor Ram Charan’s untitled upcoming flick will be released in October on the auspicious day of Vijayadashami.
The most talked about debutant and son of actor Nagarjuna, Akhil’s shooting is progressing at a brisk pace.
The movie is likely to be completed by September just in time for a Dasara release as planned earlier by the film unit.
Heading for a clash are not just these two actors, but well-known Tollywood directors as well. While Ram Charan’s movie is being directed by hit director Srinu Vaitla, Akhil’s debut film is being helmed by V.V. Vinayak.
Though not gearing up for a theatrical release, NTR Jr. and director Sukumar’s project too might just make their presence felt during the festival.
It has been learnt that the rushes of the movie might be released on Dasara.
