Unsuccessful attempt at bank robbery

ADILABAD: An unidentified offender made an unsuccessful attempt to rob the Deccan Grameena Bank (DGB) Nirmal branch in Adilabad in the early hours of Thursday. He was captured in the CCTV camera of the bank, which is located just a stone’s throw away from the busy bus stand. According to the police, the offender gained entry into the bank by making a hole in the rear wall. He, however, failed to break the locks of the safe. Police have registered a case and investigation is on.
