The Indo-UK Institute of Health (IUIH) has come forward to make an investment of Rs.1,000 crore in the field of healthcare infrastructure development in Telangana by setting-up a 1,000-bed hospital with medical college, an incubation hub for affordable healthcare and an innovation centre for research.
A memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed by the representatives of Telangana Government and IUIH here on Friday in the presence of Industries Minister Jupally Krishna Rao and Health Minister Dr. C. Laxma Reddy and Deputy Director (Trade and Industry) in British High Commission in India.
The IUIH delegation included its chief executive officer Dr. Ajay Rajan Gupta, chairman Prof. Mike Parker, board members Aman Vachher and Vinay Singhal. Mike Nithavrianakis of the Department of Health, United Kingdom, Uday Munjal and Nikhil Raj of Invest India were also present on the occasion.
