Two persons were killed in a road accident near Nemmikal village under Athmakur (S) police station limits on Sunday morning.
The deceased were identified as Bodarapu Shekar, 34, M. Lingaiah, natives of Chinnanemila village of Noothankal mandal.
Sub-Inspector of Police P. Paramesh said that one Juvvaji Lingaiah, resident of Chinnanemila, hired the auto of M. Lingaiah. Lingaiah along with his kin, Shekar, planned to visit Nemmikal to buy some sheep. On their way to Nemmikal, the auto met with an accident killing Shekar and the auto driver on the spot.

Suffers minor injuries
Juvvaji Lingaiah, who suffered minor injuries, was rushed to a hospital while the two others were killed on the spot. A case was registered.
