‘TRS not cooperating with Centre’

Union Sports Minister Rajvardhan Rathore would visit the district to take part in a public meeting at Regonda mandal headquarters here on Wednesday.

BJP district president A. Ashok Reddy said the Minister would also interact with some members of the party, who were recently enrolled at Nagaram village in Parkal mandal. He would explain people how the BJP government was functioning at the Centre and its achievements in the past one year.

Mr.Ashok Reddy said the Central government led by Mr. Modi introduced 11 new schemes in last 12 months. The BJP was also committed for development of new Telangana State and has sanctioned AIMS, Horticulture University and allocated funds for reopening of fertilizer unit at Ramagundam among others.

“Though the BJP at Centre is ready to do more for Telangana, here the ruling TRS party is not cooperating. The State government has failed to show land for setting up AIMS and also to Horticulture University,” the BJP leader alleged.

Mr. Ashok Reddy alleged that being in office for an year, the Chief Minister failed to address the important issues like universities and jobs to youth among others.
