Public representatives of Narnoor mandal, all members of the ruling TRS, on Sunday staged a dharna at the the Mandal Parishad Development Office protesting against officials who failed to display Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar RAo's image during the valedictory of the State's celebrations.After a brief argument with officials, Narnoor Mandal Parishad President Rathod Govind Naik, ZPTC member Rupwanti Gnanoba Pushkar, sarpanch Gajanand Naik, MPTC member Ade Suresh, TRS mandal unit president Mesram Hanmanth Rao and others staged a sit-in in front of the makeshift dais. The programme however, continued though there was no cultural programme as planned. - Special Correspondent
