Trains on same line cause panic

March 14, 2018 11:50 pm | Updated 11:50 pm IST - HYDERABAD

All platforms of the station were occupied

There was mild commotion near the Kacheguda railway station when two MMTS trains arrived on the same railway line, albeit at some distance away on Wednesday afternoon.

Although there was considerable gap between the trains, initial reaction from eye-witnesses was that of some signal fault.

However, SCR officials quickly squashed such information and asserted that the automatic block signalling section allowed two trains to stop on the same line within specific marginal distance because all the platforms of the station were occupied.
