A farmer, Narasimha Rama Sharma, speaking on farmers’ issues at Rythu Bandhu Patta passbook distribution programme at Ismailkhanpet in Sangareddy district on Saturday.

“Can we get water in Sangareddy Assembly constituency? If so how and from where will we get water for irrigation? Will it come through gravity?” a farmer, Narasimha Rama Sharma, asked.

Speaking at the Rythu Bandhu meeting at Ismailkhanpet in the district on Saturday, the farmer asked MLA Chinta Prabhakar, who was present at the programme, why the Chief Minister did not announce that water for irrigation would be supplied for one lakh acres in Sangareddy constituency when he made similar announcement with regard to Zaheerabad and Narayanakhed at the recent public meeting at Medak, Mr. Sharma asked while participating in the Rythu Bandhu programme.

The farmer said that water to Sangareddy should come by gravity flow instead of a lift scheme. He suggested to the MLA to see that the Chief Minister visits Sangareddy and makes an announcement regarding water supply to one lakh acres in the constituency.
