The Julurupadu police have arrested three members of a gang allegedly involved in hunting wild animals and seized three country-made single barrel guns from their possession on Wednesday.
On a tip-off, the police raided the houses of the three members of the gang in separate villages in Julurupadu and Chandrugonda mandals and recovered the firearms, torch lights and batteries allegedly meant for hunting wild animals.
Police are on the lookout for another member of the gang who is at large, sources added. Meanwhile, a middle-aged person of Korlagudem village in Kallur mandal of Khammam district was reportedly killed after being hit by a bullet allegedly fired by a poacher in the forest area in Gampalagudem mandal of Krishna district in Andhra Pradesh on Wednesday.

According to unconfirmed reports, the incident occurred when the deceased along with two others ventured into the forest area to collect flowers for Bathukamma festival.
