Three persons were killed and five others injured in a road accident that took place on Thursday morning at Kandi in Medak district.
According to police, a Qualis vehicle coming from Patancheru hit a trolley from behind while trying to overtake, resulting in the accident. While three persons – Mohd. Saibad (28), Rukkamma (40) and another unidentified person - died on the spot, five others were injured. The bodies of the deceased were shifted to government hospital for postmortem. Sangareddy rural police have registered a case and are investigating.
