Three die in road accident in Nizamabad

Three persons were killed and another injured seriously in a road accident at Secunderapur village on National Highway-44 under Jakranpally police station limits in the wee hours of Monday.

The deceased were identified as Krishnaveni (38) and her son Prabhujyoth Kumar (7) who died on the spot and her mother-in-law Eleesamma (55) who breathed her last in Government General Hospital here. Krishnaveni's husband Dasari Vijaykumar who was driving the car sustained serious injuries and his condition is stated to be grim.

The mishap took place when the Hyundai Eon car in which they were travelling from Chirala to Ichhoda in Adilabad District went out of Vijayakumar's control and hit a culvert. The driver left the steering when Prabhujyoth in the deep sleep fell on Vijaykumara's hands resulting in the mishap, according to T. Sreedhar Goud, Sub-Inspector of Police.

The family was coming back after enjoying a few days of holiday at Chirala. Vijayakumar is working as an ANM at Ichoda in Adilabad District, said the SI of Police.
