To prepare these fragrances, Subhash gets base oil from Kannoj in Uttar Pradesh. He first entered the business of manufacturing agarbattis, started by his father, and then expanded it to fragrances.

Of all the fragrances that he makes, the one that has an aesthetic touch to it is aroma de-fuser. About four drops of aroma de-fuser is put in a ceramic bowl containing water. It has a space for a lamp when lit will heat the water. Once the heating process begins, the aroma spreads across the house.

“I got support from Kalabharathi and Kalasrushti in dealing with my business. I am being supported by people as well and I send my products through courier,” Subhash said, who was here to exhibit and sell his products at Kalabharathi exhibition.
