The Hindu to hold quiz for schoolchildren on Jan. 24

The Hindu in association with Harvest Public School, Khammam, will organise a quiz contest on the theme ‘Indian Constitution and Freedom Movement’ in Khammam on January 24, on the eve of Republic Day on January 26.

Students of classes VII to X in the district are eligible to participate in the contest.

Each school can send five teams. Each team should consist of two students.

The quiz contest will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the premises of Harvest Public School, Pakabanda Bazar, Khammam.

There will be preliminary screening round followed by final quiz on the same day.

Prizes will be given to top six teams, which will qualify for final quiz. There will be prizes for audience questions also.

Topics

Participants may prepare on topics such as Indian Constitution, Freedom Fighters, British Rule, Indian Flag, Partition of India, and Indian Elections.
