The results of Intermediate second year in Telangana will be released on Monday at 10 a.m. The results assume significance as they are the first major results being announced after the formation of Telangana State.
The first year results were declared a few days ago and the State recorded four per cent increase in the pass percentage.
Students spent anxious moments before the exam as they were not sure whether the exams would be combined for both Andhra Pradesh or Telangana as they had written the first year exams in the combined state. They feared that some legal problems would come up as the marks were to be used for ranks in the IIT-JEE and IIT-Advanced.
