Sunstroke claims 11 lives

Heat wave blowing across the district unabatedly claimed seven lives on Wednesday. One Malkanna (62) in Balkonda, Gangubai in Indalwai of Dichpally mandal and Posha Goud (60) of Ishaipet in Domakonda mandal died due to sunstroke.

Meanwhile, four others including three in the district headquarters town also reportedly collapsed to the heat wave. However, no deaths were confirmed officially.

Sangareddy Staff Reporter adds: Despite indications from the Weather Department that heat may come down, the heat continued on Wednesday.

Four persons, Bhikshapti (55) at Gangaipally village in Shivampet mandal,  Pandari Rao (65) at Vasara village in Kangti mandal, Shankar (30) at Badalgam village in Manoor mandal and Srinivas at Nallapur village, reportedly died from sunstroke.
