In a move to benefit farmers the government is contemplating to purchase sugar from the factories. Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao has sanctioned amount to pay additional Rs.350 per tonne of cane.
Disclosing this at a press conference here on Thursday, Member of Parliament K. Kavitha said that the government had taken an initiative to prevail upon Nizam Deccan Sugars Limited (previously Nizam Sugar Factory or Bodhan Sugar Factory) to pay interim relief to workers and also to ensure the payment of arrears.
Referring to Congress leader Mohammed Ali Shabbir releasing the list of 101 poll promises of TRS and the status of implementation, she said that her party made only 101 promises whereas the government is executing 1001 works.

Pointing out Mr. Ali’s reported remarks on the performance of the government she wanted to know is he ever worked for the formation of Telangana State. “They are hurling stones at the government despite being rejected by people,” she said.
On Chandrababu Naidu’s tour in Telangana districts she said that the former was showering so much love and affection on Telangana thinking that people of the region forgot his efforts to stall the bifurcation of the State , she remarked.
Ms Kavitha said that proposal with an estimated outlay of Rs.510 crore was sent to the government for laying the outer ring road around the district headquarters town.

The MP sought to remind that except this district no other district in Telangana achieved the sanction of such a huge amount of Rs.140 crore for the conduct of pushkaralu to Godavari river this year.
As regards the budgetary allocation to the Peddapally-Nizamabad railway line the MP said that it was given Rs.141 crore in the Railway Budget and which was the highest ever since the railway line laying work was launched some 17 years ago.
