Six-year-old grievously injured, but out of danger

A six-year-old boy was severely injured when a pack of dogs trampled and bit him all over the body while he was on his way to school at Shayampet in Hanamkonda here on Thursday.

The child named Charan, a nursery student was attacked by five dogs. They pounced on him and injured him grievously. The passersby rushed to his rescue and shooed the dogs away and saved the boy.

He was shifted to the MGM Hospital. The doctors said the boy was out of danger.

Parents Swamy and Rajitha said that dog menace had become severe in their locality but their complaints were never heard by the authorities.
