In continuation of the efforts to expand its horizon of coal mining activities, the State-owned Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) has mooted an action plan to bid for three coal blocks being reportedly auctioned by the Central government – two in Odisha and one in Chhattisgarh.

This is one among several other important aspects that prominently figured during discussions at a high-level meeting chaired by the SCCL Chairman and Managing Director N. Sridhar in Kothagudem on Thursday.
