RTC bus checked for weapons

Medak and Karimnagar police checked an RTC bus at Lakdaram village in Kondapaka mandal as they suspected that some persons might be carrying weapons. But no weapons were found in the bus.

According to sources, some passengers had reportedly thrown spare parts of a weapon at Kudikyala village in Gangadhara mandal of Karaimnagar district. This was informed to Medak and Karimnagar police by the locals. But during the scrutiny, the police were told by the passengers that three persons got down the bus in the earlier stop. Police suspect that those passengers might have been carrying weapons.
